James R. Jim has practiced law in Missouri since 1987. Before attending Saint Louis University School of Law, he was an auditor with the Probate Division of the St. Louis County Circuit Court and then a paralegal with the Probate & Estate Planning department of Missouri's largest law firm. During law school, he clerked for two summers at Missouri's second largest law firm. Upon graduation, he rejoined his old Probate & Estate Planning department. In 1990, he left to co-found Wines & Stein, P.C. with a friend and former law school classmate in Ferguson, Missouri. In 1995, he established James R. Stein, L.C., under which he now operates a solo practice.
